On the right, you have the display and finger throttle from which you can access 12 different riding modes, and completing the cockpit are two button consoles on either side that let you turn the lights on/off, honk the horn, switch between single/dual motors, and choose either eco or turbo mode.
With its minimalist design, everything has a purpose, making the handlebars clean, tidy, and easy to use.

Made from aviation-grade aluminum, the frame is lightweight (for a performance scooter), yet tough – and who’s ever complained about a cool matte black finish?
Flecks of metallic grey add to the futuristic visage, and with its angles and industrial trimmings in tow, the Titan wouldn’t look out of place in a cyberpunk movie.
Add in its stem and deck-integrated LED strips, and you have a frame that’s reminiscent of a much more expensive Dualtron model.

The SPLACH Titan has a spacious deck that is made of durable rubber. The deck is 19.5 inches long and 8.7 inches wide, which provides plenty of space for riders of all sizes. The deck also has a textured surface that provides good grip, even when wet.
Measuring just 19.5 inches long, the deck is fairly short. This is further impacted by the positioning of the dual charging ports, which shave an extra 1.5 inches off its length. So, be warned if you have big feet – the tight space may take a little getting used to.
That’s not to say it’s all doom and gloom. We were thrilled to see that the deck has considerable ground clearance.
This allows the swingarms to pivot for deeper traveling suspension. Ultimately, this bolsters ride quality and the 6.2 inches of clearance ensure that you can roll over rugged terrain and avoid bumps and scrapes when dismounting curbs.
And let’s not forget that the Titan also comes with a reinforced kickplate to extend the length of space available for your feet to 24 inches (or 22.5 inches when accounting for the charging ports).
Once you’ve found a comfortable stance, the grippy rubber overlaying the deck keeps you securely in place.

Surprisingly, it goes toe-to-toe with the Apollo Ghost to 15 mph, before leaving it in the dust when accelerating beyond 25 mph. Sure, the Mantis King GT and the Mantis V2 may be quicker, but they’ll also require a lot more of your savings.

When riding the scooter across varying terrain in its fastest settings, we got a real-world range of 29 miles. This is impressive considering that the somewhat equally powered Apollo Ghost ($1,699) achieved just 25 miles under the same conditions.

Measured up against 13 similarly-priced scooters that sit within a $500 range of its price tag, the Titan once again lays all before it to waste.
Its closest rival, the VSETT 8 (19.2Ah), may cost the same, but its maximum range is 6 miles less due to its smaller battery. It also has a single 48V 600W motor, which is dwarfed by the Titan’s dual 52V 1000W pairing.
In truth, no scooter comes close to matching it.
Hill Climbing

Braking
Coming equipped with front and rear discs, as well as an electronic braking system, you can expect to stop in 2.4 meters from 15 mph.

Via a mobile app, you can change the color, pattern, and brightness of the lights with a swipe of your finger. And, in a first for customizable LEDs, you can make them match the rhythm of music or your voice.
Secret Hiding Spot for Apple Air Tag
If you do fall victim to theft, or simply forget where you left your scooter (it could happen) then SPLACH has been kind enough to supply a secret hiding spot for an Apple Air Tag.
Located underneath the headlight is a small round fixture that can be unscrewed. Thankfully, the reflective cap makes it look like it’s part of the headlight and so it goes unnoticed. This lends itself to an unassuming secret hiding spot.
NFC Card Reader to Unlock the Scooter
Because we received one of the first units of the Titan, ours came without an NFC card reader. However, it can be purchased as an optional accessory.
Branded as SPLACH’s airlock keyless system, it allows you to lock and unlock the Titan with NFC key cards – the same technology used on key fobs to get into apartment blocks.
Each unit has a custom-coded card and reader, meaning only you can gain access to the scooter. You can even get a digital copy of the NFC key card on your phone, making it more convenient than having to add another trinket to your key ring.
Horn
No scooter worth its weight in gold is complete without a horn – and the Titan is worth its weight.
By pressing the horn button, you can alert pedestrians and cyclists to your presence. It’s not loud enough to be heard by traffic, though.
IP54 Water-Resistance Rating
